Easter holidays

Room 7 have written recounts about our Easter holidays and today we used our google drive to publish our writing for the first time. 

We know that recounts should have an introduction, a series of events and a reflection.  

Fiji

In the holidays I went  to the beach at Fiji. First I scraped my toe. After that Dad got a plaster and he carefully put the plaster on. Then everyone walked back to ther rooms and our namb was 333.I loved it in fiji❤️❤️❤️❤️

Boxing

On the weekend I did sum boxing with Ocean Willim and a kid from Dobsen.My ferst 

Aponet was William and he backed awt in the middle of the round.Then me and Ocean had a boxing match and  I bet him.Wow.

Snipping the deer.

On friday after school I went to the forisst and we shot a deer. First we hid in a tree and we snipid in  a tree. We shot the deer. We toke  the deer home and i said i dont want to get the gutse. deffntley im not doing it!

Rebecca's Sunflower

Rebecca's mum bought get in a seed head from a giant sunflower.  We are going to dry the seeds and sow them in Spring. 

Horses are fast races. Horses can be different colours like white' black and grey. Horses need lots of care you need to brushed 'feed and ridden but no to much. If you are in a race and you are losing do not hit the horses to much because the horses will stop and not move at all so dot hit the horses to much. Would you like to be a horse ride wen you grow up? new born horses are called... foal. Wen foals are born they are very week so be careful. Horses can be famous for racing. I love horses.

Our Visual Mihi

We have been very busy wreaking on our visual mihi. It took us 9 weeks to finish them. Have you made a mihi before?  Here is a video for you to watch.

To decide the colours, we thought about our favourite colours.  Also, we took photos of ourselves and coloured it in.  Then we picked our favourite pet or toy to draw. After that, we needed to draw a koru. Lastly, we have used letters from magazines make the words.

M and M Experiment

For the m and m experiment,you need packet of m and m, bowl and water. Firstly, put the water in the jar. Next put the m and m in the water but make sure the m is facing up and the water needs to be over the top of the m and m.  The m and m's turned white and the m float up. The colours separated into different parts.
